Code Immersives is a New York City-based accredited coding bootcamp located at 630 9th Avenue, Suite 901 near Times Square, and in the heart of the city. Code Immersives offers a comprehensive web development bootcamp (and more) and career assistance for students. The program, which is an official Amazon Academy, is also an F1 Student Visa-Authorized Course. The program is also V.A. Authorized for G.I. Bill recipient veterans who want to pursue a career in tech. The immersive 900-hour full stack development course isn’t the only option—the program also offers an immersive Python development and machine learning course. This coding bootcamp is catered specifically to veterans and international students.
The total time commitment required by the program is 900 hours—this is the case for all available courses. The courses are broken down into three terms, each with 180 class hours and 120 lab hours. Each term lasts 15 weeks and covers more than a dozen different topics. The first term is called the ‘Starter Phase,’ the second term is called the ‘Junior Phase,’ and the third term is called the ‘Senior Phase.’ All three terms fit within a single academic year.
At the end of each program, students are given interview questions and other career-placement preparation resources. Additionally, students receive individual one-to-one preparation and practice time with instructors. Students will take the Amazon High Demand Level One Certification Exam. Students spend time preparing for every aspect of the job interview and also have time to iron out their portfolios and develop a resume.
Financial aid is available for some students, and the Code Immersives program accepts the G.I. Bill. The program is accredited, which allows it to accept payment forms normally reserved for universities and colleges. The full upfront price of the course (without financial aid) is $17,995. Tuition alone is $15,890 for the academic year. The remaining cost comes from a $25 application fee, a $1,970 material fee, and a $110 technology fee. Students who get accepted into the program receive a brand-new MacBook Pro (which they keep), and the program can be fully funded by financial aid.
